This two-day classroom course is the prepares you for the Florida State exams for Mold Remediator or Mold Assessor. Our course is a DBPR approved exam for the state license (exam fee NOT included in the course tuition - apply at acicp.org for that). Application requirements for license, water intrusion mold and respiratory protection are all covered in this course. INCLUDED in the tuition is the handbook you need to take the open-book ACICP mold exam.
Day 1 will cover Mold Assessment: mold fundamentals, microbial basics, health effects of mold, understanding moisture, assessment and investigation, professional practices, and the Florida mold law.
Day 2 will cover Mold Remediation: causes and clean up, prevention strategies, equipment, investigation, remediation guidelines and respiratory protection.
YOU NEED BOTH DAYS OF TRAINING WHETHER YOU ARE TESTING FOR ASSESSOR OR REMEDIATOR.
