What Classes Do I NEED?
Log into your online account with the state at www.myfloridalicense.com to find out specifically what KIND of hours you need if you do not know. County license have their own schedule - ask your Contractor Licensing division of your building department.
2022 is the year CERTIFIED CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTORS and ELECTRICAL CONTRACTORS need to renew licenses (August 31st).
CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTORS: You will need 7 "required" hours plus any other 7-hour class.
ELECTRICAL CONTRACTORS: You need the "required" hours plus 7 TECHNICAL hours which would be one of two classes: the NEC or 7-hour Advanced Means of Egress (advanced hours count as "technical").
HOME INSPECTORS (HI) AND MOLD SERVICE LICENSES expires July 31, 2022. WHETHER OR NOT YOU ARE ACTIVE OR INACTIVE, YOU WILL NEED TO DO CONTINUING EDUCATION HOURS.
