This online course is designed to prepare you for success on the Residential Building, Mechanical, Plumbing, and Electrical Inspectors & Plans Examiner exams.
Course Structure & Access
The course includes four separate modules:
- Building
- Mechanical
- Plumbing
- Electrical
All four modules run at the same time.
Upon purchase, your 6-month course access begins immediately. During those 6 months, you have access to all four modules, all content, at the same time. Each module includes prerecorded lessons, study materials, and practice resources, allowing you to study at your own pace.
In addition, you’re welcome to join our live quarterly classes—either in person at our Hudson classroom or via live webinar—any that fall within your 6-month access period per module. The upcoming live class dates are (subject to change);

Based on 2018 or 2021 International Residential Code.
You are able to register for live classes in your student portal when you purchase the course. Attendance at a live class is not required since all exam prep content is available online, but CE credit will only be given to live class or live webinar attendance.
If you would need more time in a module, you can purchase 45 day extensions for $150 - sold separately for each module.
