Specific to Florida, our mold related services course covers the process of evaluating and remediating mold and moisture damages and cleanup. Review of Florida statutory requirements, air sampling, testing, report writing, clean up protocols and remediation process is the focus of this training and preparation for testing through the Association of Construction Industry Certified Professionals Assessor and Remediator Exams. This course includes EVERYTHING necessary to complete Florida's state requirement AND pass the state exam.

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED
DAY ONE : Mold fundamentals, microbial fundamentals, health effects of mold, understanding moisture, assessment & investigation, professional practices, florida mold law.
DAY TWO: Causes & clean up, prevention strategies, equipment used, building investigation, mold remediation, remediation guidelines, respiratory protection.
COVERED BOTH DAYS: mycotoxins, identifying moisture, HVAC, industry guidelines, documentation.
Steps: Sign up as a student and pay your tuition fee. We will put you into a pre-requisite course and email you directions for logging in. The pre-requisite course MUST BE COMPLETED prior to attending the live exam prep class. Completion of the live class is required to obtain the certificate of training you need to submit to the DBPR with your application for the license.
STUDENTS HAVE 6 MONTHS TO COMPLETE THE ONLINE PRE-REQUISITE COURSE AND ATTEND A LIVE, TWO-DAY CLASS TO COMPLETE THE COURSE. TESTING IS AVAILABLE (CLICK ON LINK ABOVE TO ACICP) AND IS OFFERED EITHER ONLINE OR PAPER/PENCIL AFTER A LIVE CLASS.
