Specific to Florida, our mold related services course covers the process of evaluating and remediating mold and moisture damages and cleanup. Review of Florida statutory requirements, air sampling, testing, report writing, clean up protocols and remediation process is the focus of this training and preparation for testing through the Association of Construction Industry Certified Professionals Assessor and Remediator Exams. This course includes EVERYTHING necessary to complete Florida's state requirement AND pass the state exam.
EXAM ADMINISTERED THROUGH ACICP.
DAY ONE : MOLD ACCESSMENT Mold fundamentals, microbial fundamentals, health effects of mold, understanding moisture, assessment & investigation, professional practices, florida mold law.
DAY TWO : REMEDIATION Causes & clean up, prevention strategies, equipment used, building investigation, mold remediation, remediation guidelines, respiratory protection.
COVERED BOTH DAYS : mycotoxins, identifying moisture, HVAC, industry guidelines, documentation.
