CE: 7-Hour Introduction to Windloads

This course is to provide participants with an overview of residential wind load requirements. You will learn how to determine ultimate and nominal wind speed and applicable risk category, determine surface roughness and wind exposure, calculate the enclosure classification and internal pressure, determine the cmponent and cladding perssures on all roof and wall zones, understand how to protect openings in the wind borne debris region, and understand structure reactions due to wind.
