7-Hour Advanced Building Code: Means of Egress
This 7-hour course is applicable to all industry professionals and addresses minimum requirements, maintenance, fire safety, and evacuation plans. Topics include definitions related to the means of egress, such as exit access, exit, exit discharge, and the public way. Additional coverage includes code details and exceptions for doors, floor elevations, landings, thresholds, hardware, stairways, headroom, handrails, ramps, exit signs, guards, aisles, and emergency escape and rescue openings.
Students have 90 days from enrollment to complete the course at their own pace.
